Internship Program

Overview

Northbridge Church desires to train and make use of a part-time summer intern within the fields of communication, engagement, and worship ministry. The intern will come alongside the director of operations overseeing these ministries to observe and advance their effectiveness. The intern will have unique experiential opportunities in a hands-on environment to further understand the day-to-day operations of church ministry, the formulation of ministry goals and their execution, and the importance of dependence on the Holy Spirit’s  leading. The hope is that this internship will further prepare the individual for future church ministry, shed further light on their spiritual gifts and calling, and equip them with tools for wherever God calls them.

Expectations

• Work no more than 20 hours / week in the ministry of the church (office hours are flexible).

• Attend all pastoral/staff meetings, prayer meetings, Sunday morning services, and Wednesday night worship rehearsals.

• Meet every-other week with a new family, couple or individual attender for insight, connections and worship content.

Compensation

• The intern will be given a weekly stipend of $200 over the course of 10-12 weeks.

• Free housing will be provided through someone in the church (if necessary).

• The intern will be responsible to have a mode of transportation however, mileage used for ministry purposes will be reimbursed at $0.55 per mile.

• We will give guidance and direction to the intern for other potential part-time jobs in addition to the internship.
