Am I welcome if I’m not a Christian?

100%! In fact, we’ve designed Northbridge with you in mind! We want our church to be a place where you can belong before you believe. You can have questions, doubts, hurts and pains and you’re always still welcome.

Will I be singled out if I’m new?

Absolutely not! You’re our guest and that would be a terrible introduction to our family. Plus, every Sunday we have lots of people just like you who are checking out Northbridge for the first time. Our goal is for you to have the best experience possible, which means we won’t single you out in any way.

What about my kids?

Our children’s ministry Bridge Kids offers care and teaching for ages 0-6 yrs during the service. Our service is a family-friendly worship experience for the whole family. We also have a worship-in training space with tables for kids and parents to space out and train up for participating in worship.

Is there a dress code?

Nope! Come as you are and wear whatever you makes you feel most comfortable. Dress up or dress down, it’s up to you. For those of you who don’t want to stand out one way or the other, most people who call Northbridge “home” dress causally. That said, we don’t welcome people based on their fashion, and God is far more interested in your heart than how you’re dressed.

Can I meet the pastor?

Definitely! Pastor Ray is typically always available after service and loves to meet and pray with guests. You can also schedule a time to get coffee with Pastor Ray by emailing info@northbridge.cc

Every week in our Lord’s Day worship services, we follow a consistent liturgical pattern called covenant renewal worship. This pattern follows the worship of God’s people in the Old and New Testament, where the God’s people offered three different kinds of services to God. In the Old Testament, God’s people offered three sacrifice in the Temple: guilt offering, ascension (or burnt) offering, and peace offering.

As a New Testament Church we reflect the practices of God’s people offering a literary sacrifice or offering of words. Our worship service begins with a call to worship, then an offering of confession, a consecration and ends with a commissioning. The liturgy or order of service is called “covenant renewal” not because the covenant expires every week (it is eternal), but because the covenant is a living contract and relationship, which God is pleased to renew with us weekly. This renewal is not like the renewal of a yearly contract, but instead is like how physical communion between a husband and wife renews the marriage covenant or a meal renews the body.
